Gregg is a trusted, IRS‑authorized tax professional with over 30 years of experience preparing personal and small business income tax returns. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Gregg was raised in Los Angeles, California before returning to Kansas City, where he attended Rockhurst High School.
After graduation, Gregg enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he was meritoriously promoted during basic training for leadership and performance. He was later stationed with the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. During his first deployment aboard the USS Tarawa, Gregg’s unit participated in the Multi‑National Peacekeeping Force off the coast of Beirut, Lebanon, an experience that reinforced discipline, accountability, and attention to detail.
Following his military service, Gregg held a Top Secret security clearance and worked for the FBI in Hawaii for two years. His roles included National Crime Information Center (NCIC) Operator and Evidence Custodian, positions that required strict procedural compliance, accuracy, and absolute integrity—standards that continue to define his tax practice today.
Over the next two decades, Gregg built a successful and diverse business career. He served as General Manager of a Westport nightclub and later took ownership of a flower shop that gained national recognition. From 1998 to 2001, Gregg operated what was widely known as the world’s largest online florist, earning significant media coverage, multiple magazine profiles, and a Missouri State Senate Resolution honoring his achievements in the business community.
Why the cat head logo? Gregg's great-grandfather (Issac Katz) was one of the founders of the Katz Drug Company and the cat head was the store's logo.
